WeatherSnoop is simply the best weather station interface software out there. My Davis Vantage Pro 2 station came in a bundle with software from Davis, but it pales in comparison to WeatherSnoop. It works seamlessly with my Davis USB console which is wirelessly connected to my sensor suite outside. The instrument display that displays all the information is intuitive and visually pleasing. You can customize graphs of various data plots, giving the program a polished look. WeatherSnoop 3 allows you to view and access some settings (like archive interval) which are built into the weather station console itself. The developer is VERY open to feature requests and was very helpful when I had questions initially. When new features are added, any questions I have for the developer are answered promptly. I am a weather "hobbyist" but I feel like a weather pro with this software. I send my data to various websites such as Weather Underground, CWOP, Weather Bug and Personal weather station. There are a few other sites to share with as well. I highly recommend this software.

Several days of Internet searches resulted in my selection of WeatherSnoop 2 for my iMac in September 2013. WeatherSnoop was the best choice to replace my Windows 7 based Davis software. And with the release of WeatherSnoop 3, it is off the charts. It provides a robust interface and just gets better with every version. The WeatherSnoop interface to my Davis Vantage Pro 2 provides data to Weather Underground, Weather Bug, CWOP and most recently Weather Cloud. All data is stored in a SQLite database and allows data extraction for your specific use. Contrary to some of the negative comments about this software, it has been very stable even after power outages that would corrupt other databases. The developer responses to questions have been professional and timely.

WeatherSnoop is my favorite of all the weather applications I have seen and/or tried. It just works well with no extras to install or any other hassles. The developer has been super responsive to any issues or suggestions. This package has had several great new releases over the last year and I expect many more nice improvements. I know the developer has great plans for future functionality and his upgrade pricing is very modest. WeatherSnoop supports many different weather stations - mine is a Vantage Pro 2 using the Weather Envoy as the interconnection to my Mac Mini running Mavericks. WeatherSnoop supports all the extra sensors (solar/UV, leaf wetness and temp, soil moisture and temp, etc. so it is a very complete package. I upload my data to Weather Underground, CWOP and WeatherBug and will probably add WeatherCloud now that the new version supports that. I would definitely recommend this to any one with one of the supported weather stations.

I'm using Weathersnoop with Rainwise CC3000 and it works better than many of the Windows apps that support the CC3000. A few teething problems to start but really great tech support and the app now runs reliably
