A few German channels actually work, unlike in the paid app called "Live TV" which was waste of money... French and US channels don't seem to work though. At least this app allows me to try it first.

The same limitations still apply as ever: The lack of international copyright agreements, and more importantly marketing agreements, prevent one country's media from being available to another country. Only citizens within that country OR group of countries with a media sharing agreement can access the country/group's media. Applications like this don't change that. There are ways to not-quite-legally get around this (IMHO) rubbish. But they're arduous and not-quite-legal. Happily, there is some streamed and shared media that is offered internationally, such as world news from various countries. Examples: The UK, France, Germany, Japan. There are also plenty of streamed radio stations from around the world. But if you want to access, for example, BBC content only accessible to UK citizens, but you're in the USA... forget it. Not gonna happen without a not-quite-legal workaround.

This is hardly worth a thing in the US, so you might note its limitations so we don't waste our time downloading something we cannot use. It's fine if you live in Europe.
