iStopMotion for Mac

i have this soft ware . iStopMotion and i really like it. but i have not been able to use it because my computer has upgraded from 34 bits to 64 bits.and now its not working. i have the Licenses for it to .is there any way you can help me out .i can show you my past work to its good .thanks chris

Where the Apple Remote support? I've read about it, but my Remote doesn't work.

Dave, the Apple Store (and all the retail channel) sells what they have on stock. The new price of iStopMotion Home is US$49 which is the same as the US$39 suggested retail price for iStopMotion 1.10 plus the $10 update fee. You pay the same for iStopMotion 2 wether you first purchase the 1.10 box at the Apple Store and then update or purchase iStopMotion 2 online. It is perfectly normal that retailers have previous versions on their shelves when an app is updated. You may also note that iStopMotion 2 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or newer while iStopMotion 1.10 runs on 10.3 so there are customers who actually require the version 1.10 Best regards, Oliver Breidenbach Boinx Software Ltd.

I just bought iStopMotion from the Apple store and they shipped me version 1.10. I installed it, and entered the license key - all was good. A check for updates came back with a new version - 2.0. I downloaded it and installed, and entered my license key. It tells me the license key is only good for the old version, even though I just purchased the product new - I expected to get the latest version. So I contacted Boinx, and here is what they said; ----- Dear David, the Apple Store only ships iStopMotion Version 1 as the boxed version for iStopMotion 2 is not ready yet. You can now either use iStopMotion 1 from the CD or upgrade to iStopMotion 2. The price for the update from iStopMotion 1 to iStopMotion 2 is just the difference between the old price and the new price and available at http://...... Wow... I've been in software sales for 15 years, and I've never heard of selling a product, delivering an old version, and then demanding an upgrade fee. When you sell a software product, you deliver the latest released version. Boinx is delivering Version 2.0 on-line - the product is fully release. In fact they are already talking about the Leopard release. How can they claim that 2.0 is not the current release? It's even more interesting that the release number is not listed on the Apple site, which implies that the latest version will be shipped or made available via upload. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? Is this a legal product sales tactics. I hope Apple knows what is going on. Dave
