Fat Pipe Downloader overview

Fat Pipe Downloader is a download manager/accelerator. Most servers and internet service providers limit the speed a single connection can have. Fat Pipe Downloader can bypass these limits by splitting a download task up into many smaller chunks. This guarantees that you will fully saturate your internet connection.

Available as an extension for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Veriy unfortunately not available for Chromium, so I (and many others) don't have any use for it.

Hi Chad, I would have posted this to your website, but there is nowhere to do that, so here we go. I've installed FP and also the Firefox extension. When I try to download from my Uploaded.net account, I don't get a 'Download with FatPipe' option. I *think* I can add FP to the list of downloaders in the FlashGot extension, but I don't know what command line arguments I would need to use. Do you have a solution?

I thought I'd give this app a try but I'm unable to evaluate it as it seems to be hung up on "resolving filename..." on the first URL entered. I note that the developer responded very promptly today so I look forward to hearing from Chad. (As I have to enter the stars, I'll enter 3 for now in hopes that this issue will be resolved.)

Very buggy. When it works, it works great. I got about 250Kbps downloading directly from Uploaded, and about 3Mbps using Fat Pipe Downloader. But its window sometimes shows the desktop through horizontal stripes, and it crashes very frequently on my Macbook Pro running Mavericks.
