At first I loved it, but then hated it when the app started unexpectidely to launch at login and I could not prevent it from doing that. Unchecking the box in the preferences did not change anything. I had to uninstall it using a 3rd-party app to get rid of it.

amazing translation quality, and really like the synonym matching feature. However, the app requires optimization for apple mac silicon and the new macOS is very resource intensive at the moment

I wa very happy with Deepl, until I cannot downloaded anymore on my Mac, wonder why. But Deepl is an excellent tool. I love it.
