@Mindplay. And of those 2 Billion people, what percent rely on Apple products for managing their finances and what percent of those 2 billion use a computer to actually manage their finances. One thing I forgot to mention is that in my brief reading of the on-line manual and its Table of Contents I saw no mention of handling investments or downloading security prices. Downloading security prices normally does not require an log-in or password so it is highly unlikely that security would be compromised.

This App has no provision for in app download of data or bill pay. The developer uses potential security issues as their justification. That said there are so many other avenues of security breaches with accounts that while they maybe technically correct the potential extra exposure does not justify not supporting it given the convenience and time savings it offers to the user. The developer also claims that downloads are not supported as they can be inaccurate. I have been using Apps that support financial downloads since they became available and it has never been an issue for me. I find that any discrepancies can be handled during the reconciliation process and having daily download allows me to identity incorrect charges or hacking and take corrective action long before I find out about it from a monthly statement and allows me to avoid overage charges, and bounced transactions which actually improve my security. None of these security concerns explain the fact, that as far as I can tell from the online manual, check printing is also not supported. I am of the opinion that much of the security concerns for not offering downloads and bill pay, while theoretically valid, from a practical point, is just an excuse for not offering these services in the App. For if hacking at this level was actually going on to any significant degree, it would be all over the news and the bank aggravators that the developer mentioned would like be sued along with the institutions that used them, similar to Experian. I also noted from the FAQ on the website, that if you expect to use this App on a MOS as well as an IOS device you must pay separately for each version as well as any upgrades.
