Well this looks like a replacement for the now abandoned MAFFia only with more than sheep to destroy. I'll have to give it a spin but the graphics look a little too perfect.

"Added option to disable blood effects" Seriously? Why don't you just invent a "factory farm" game and see if you can kill these kinds of animals more realistically. At least that would be genuinely educational.

Christ, this thing is vile and disgusting. The theme is animals "escaping their environment". So we use them for target practice, huh? Blow them away, even though they're not threatening anyone or each other; and do so in a particularly horrible way.....via flame thrower or rocket launcher? Really mindless and gratuitous Totally offensive. Yeah, this IS pretty sick stuff. The fact that the developer elected to go with this theme is quite revealing.

Yep, this thing IS a sickeroo alright. Images of both barnyard animals as well as bear, deer, and what appear to be racoons, none of them threatening anyone or each other. All just blasted away. And this is supposed to be fun??? The developer says that he doesn't promote animal abuse. Ok, then. So what is the game all about , if not killing them in a horrible, sadistic manner. And why? Because the animals are escaping, crossing the environment. So, lets kill them. If nothing else, Barnyard Blaster desensitizes its players to the suffering of all sentient beings. The developer is a case in point; he obviously doesn't have a clue. he says that the game is only meant for "mature audiences". The game's description says "the replay value will keep you occupied for countless hours". I can't imagine that a person with a mature state of mind would even "get off" on playing this abomination, let alone play it for hours. Yes, this thing is twisted all right. http://www.animalcruelty.com/acfastfacts.html http://www.aspca.org/fight-animal-cruelty/
