Used to be good software, but ver 7 absolutely ruined navigating and commands. Left click becomes right click, keyboard commands act randomly and many more. Connection speeds are slightly better than before, but apart from that, it's pretty unusable.

Version 7 is a major step backwards. Although connections are performing better, the usability is horrible. You no longer can search through your recent or saved connections. They just populate the list. And the lists themselves have strange layouts. Did anyone at anydesk.com ever use their own software?!

I've been using this software for about a year now and for the most part it's worked pretty well. Their recent version 5 has had some hiccups and has given me a good amount of trouble - primarily when connecting to Windows servers. They've been releasing updates and that seems to be helping with the issues thus far. So, far a fairly competent program but their support however is almost nonexistent! Really hit and miss! Recently I've sent them multiple emails through their support forum requesting help and reporting issues. They either don't respond at your email at all or if they do it's very vague and of little use. Again, a fairly decent program but their support is horrible! They've raised their price in the last year for a 1 year subscription by quite a bit. For that kind of price increase you'd thing they'd up their game with regards to support. Because of the poor support, I may have to reconsider when it comes time to renew my subscription. There are many products out there that do the same thing.

I remotely connect to / from macOS, Windows, iOS very frequently. For that purpose I usually interchangeably used Chrome Remote Desktop and TeamViewer, in case when one fails. But increasingly they have been both failing me when connections just could not be established for whatever reason, or established but not properly (like black screen only with Chrome Remote Desktop). And now I am primarily using AnyDesk, and so far it has been the most reliable of the three for me, though, I still have Chrome Remote Desktop and TeamViewer for backup, for now, in case things go so south.
